Remembrance Sunday Service – Update

Sadly, due to the requirements of the Covid-19 lockdown, the Services of Remembrance due to be held on Remembrance Sunday have had to be amended.

Whilst services in Church buildings may not go ahead, there is Government permission for Churches and Local Authorities to host services at outdoor War Memorials. Therefore there will be a short Act of remembrance held at the Memorial in St Gregory’s churchyard, Seaton, starting at 10.45am on Sunday.

Members of the public are asked not to gather at the War Memorials at either of these times. The Sunday Act at St Gregory’s will be live-streamed on the “St Gregory’s Church, Seaton” Facebook page.

Regrettably, despite attempts to arrange a similar Act for Beer, it has not been possible to do so.
